Easy reels for when you have no time

I love the snazzy reels with clever transitions, cinematic film and clever storytelling, but when you're short of time, you've got to be able to post easy reels. And by that I mean reels that you can post in 10 minutes flat.

They've become my go-to format for reels and I've taught over 120 other business owners to make them in the same way. Because when life is lifeing and you're trying to hold it all together in your business, you need ways to post content fast.

I'm an unexpected home educator as well as a business owner. Even as a Content Coach that means very little time for actually creating my own content... and so I've learnt to make reels the easy way. And I punch them out every week whatever is happening.

In my book, you don’t need clever reels. You need consistency. A way to show up, land a message for your audience and leave. Easy reels that don’t have you performing.

Most people have tried everything except simple.

They

• Save trending audios and styles that work for other accounts

• Wait for Instagram gurus to tell them what to film and create next
• See or think of an idea and set about filming it
• Wait for better light
• Or more energy
• Or until you have “time”

And most decide reels just take too long and quietly avoid them.

Because Reels feel heavy when they are started from scratch every time. But feel light when the parts are already there. And that’s where easy 10 minute reels come in.

How to make quick easy reels?

Easy reels follow a rhythm and they are not built on trends. They are instead built on preparation.

Choose one clear message

Pair it with a simple clip (B-roll you’ve already filmed).

Use the same format every time.

Keep the caption short

Post and close the app

An easy reel is a 7 second reel made in minutes. And they’re the kind of reels I’ve become a master of… and you will too. I use them to grow my audience, to nurture them and to sell.

Why easy reels actually work

Easy reels work for one simple reason. They get posted. And posted will always beat perfect.

Your audience does not need cinematic edits or clever transitions to trust you. They need to hear from you often enough to remember you. They need repetition. They need clarity. They need to see you showing up leading the way.

When you only post when you’ve got time to create something elaborate, there are long stretches of silence in between. You disappear. Not intentionally. Just because life is busy and the bar you’ve set for yourself is too high to maintain.

Easy reels remove that pressure. They allow you to say the important things regularly. To remind your audience what you do. To talk about the offer you’re building. To challenge a misconception. To share a sentence that might land at exactly the right moment for someone scrolling.

They keep your business moving even when your week is full.

This is how you grow, nurture and move your audience without turning content into another job. Simple messages, shared consistently, build far more momentum than the occasional polished production.

And most importantly, easy reels are sustainable.

They don’t rely on you having high energy or perfect lighting or an empty diary. They rely on a small rhythm you can repeat even when life is busy.

That’s why I use them. And that’s why I can still post whilst running a business and home educating.

Easy reels work.

I’ve captured my easy reels method a the 10 Minute Reels System and I’d love for you to have a read and make them this way too. Honestly it changes how often you can show up for your business.
