Introduction

These Terms of Purchase set out how you (the User) can make purchases from this Site. Please read them carefully. I pride myself on providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that you are clear in respect of all of your rights relating to your purchase.

References to “I”, “me” or “my” refer to Sarah Richards Social, a trading name of Rich Marketing Limited.

By purchasing any digital products, sessions, courses or memberships, you will be accepting the terms set out here.

I am based in the UK and my Terms of Purchase are governed by UK legislation. My digital documents can be downloaded worldwide.

When you purchase a product or service, your personal data will be handled in accordance with my Privacy Statement. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. My Privacy Statement can be found on a separate page.

It is always my aim that you will be fully satisfied with your purchase. Should you have any questions about your purchase, I will be happy to assist.

A: Purchase Terms for all Products and Services

The inclusions of each specific service or digital product, together with the details of delivery associated with it, are described on each relevant page of the website and are delivered in accordance with these terms. You should review those details and these terms carefully before purchasing.

If you purchase as a consumer, rather than a business, you are entitled to a 14-day right to cancel under UK consumer law. Where digital content, courses, workshops, memberships or services are accessed or begin immediately, you agree for delivery to start straight away and acknowledge that your right to cancel may be limited or waived, as set out in the relevant sections below.

It is your responsibility to apply what you learn via any of these products or services to your own business and circumstances. Every business is unique.

 

B: Purchase Terms for Digital Products

I have worked hard to create Digital Products, including templates and downloadable resources, which are of a high standard and support my clients to create content and market their business quickly and easily.

Details of what is included in each Digital Product are outlined on the relevant sales page.

If you buy one of my Digital Products, including templates or downloadable resources, you are purchasing access to a digital asset, you will not receive a physical product. You will receive instant access automatically once your payment has been processed. You can then access, download and save to your device.

Digital products may include, but are not limited to, templates, planners, guides, workbooks or other downloadable resources.

To enable me to send the pdf to you by email, you will be added to my email list and your information handled as per my privacy agreement. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Refunds: As you receive this file instantly you will not be entitled to receive a refund so do check that you are purchasing the correct product or service to meet your needs. Your other statutory rights to a refund remain in place in the usual way.

Intellectual Property: Please be advised that I reserve all rights to my intellectual property for both my customised and non-customised products and services. This means that whilst you are free to use the download digitally or print out a copy for personal use you are not permitted to copy, distribute, adapt, edit or share any of my products with third parties.

Important Disclaimers: Please be aware that you are purchasing a digital product only. You will not receive a physical product and there will be no 1:1 or group training. Should you require further support get in touch and I can advise you of the options to work with me further, additional fees will apply.

Whilst a number of my clients have obtained great results from using my products, I cannot guarantee outcomes or results of any kind.

Technical Difficulties: Should you have any problems with downloading your file or be unable to access the download please email me, placing ‘Tech Query’ in the subject field and send your email to sarah@sarahrichardssocial.co.uk

Additional Circumstances: Should you consider that you have grounds to obtain a refund which are not set out above, you should email me at the address below to set out your refund request.

All refunds are provided in accordance with your statutory rights.

 

C: Purchase Terms for courses, group workshops and masterclasses

This section applies to the purchase of all online courses, group workshops and masterclasses delivered by me, whether live, replayed or self-paced.

Access and delivery: Live sessions will be delivered online via Zoom. Access details will be sent to you after purchase.

All replays and course materials will be hosted on my course platform via Thrivecart. You will be asked to create a login automatically after purchase. Please keep your login details safe, as any future workshops or courses you purchase will also appear in your main account menu.

Replays will be available for a minimum of 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the sales page.

Access to courses, workshops, masterclasses and replays is for the purchaser only and must not be shared with any other person.

Refunds and cancellations: Refunds are not available for courses, group workshops or masterclasses. Please ensure the session is right for you before purchasing.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you acknowledge that by completing your purchase, you are requesting immediate access to digital content and/or live sessions. Once access has been provided, your statutory 14-day cooling-off period is waived in accordance with UK consumer law.

Fees and payment plans: Where a course, workshop or masterclass is offered with a payment plan, this represents a commitment to pay the full advertised fee. Payment plans are provided to make the purchase more accessible and are not a subscription or trial option.

All instalments must be paid in full, even if you choose not to attend, stop participating or do not complete the course, workshop or masterclass.

If instalment payments fall into arrears, I reserve the right to pause access to course materials, replays or live sessions until payment is brought up to date.

Postponed, rescheduled or cancelled sessions: If, due to unforeseen circumstances, a live session needs to be postponed or cancelled, one of the following will apply:
• a new date will be advised, or
• a recording of the session will be made available, or
• a suitable content expert will deliver the session.

Confidentiality: Any personal information, experiences or business details shared by other attendees during group sessions must be treated as confidential and must not be shared outside the session.

Session recordings and visibility: Live training sessions will be recorded. Recordings will be made available to anyone who has purchased the relevant workshop, masterclass or course.

Your name, image and/or video may be captured during these sessions. If you choose to share information about yourself or your business during live sessions, this information will be visible to other purchasers. Please only share what you are comfortable doing so in a group setting.

Intellectual Property: Please be advised that I reserve all rights to my intellectual property for both my customised and non-customised products and services. This means that whilst you are free to use the content digitally or print out a copy for personal use, you are not permitted to copy, distribute, adapt, edit or share any of my products with third parties.

Results disclaimer: Whilst a number of my clients have obtained great results from using my products and services, I cannot guarantee outcomes or results of any kind. You are responsible for how you apply the information provided to your own business or circumstances.

Behaviour and participation: I reserve the right to remove any participant from a course, workshop or masterclass without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, or breaches these terms, including confidentiality or intellectual property provisions.

Technical requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable internet access, equipment and software to participate in live sessions and access replays or course materials. I am not responsible for technical issues outside my control.

Changes to content or format: I reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the content, structure, speakers or delivery format of courses, workshops and masterclasses where necessary.

 

D: Purchase Terms for The Content Collective

This section applies to the purchase of The Content Collective membership.

Inclusions: Details of what is included in The Content Collective is outlined on the relevant sales page.

Access and delivery: Upon purchase, you will be given instant access to The Content Collective hub on my course platform via Thrivecart. You will be asked to create a login automatically after purchase. Please keep your login details safe, as access to all Content Collective materials is managed through this account.

The Content Collective hub acts as an information and inspiration space and contains training materials, session replays and resources. All content provided is for your own personal use only and is not to be shared.

Access to The Content Collective is valid only while your membership is active. Once your membership ends, access to the hub, materials and replays will be removed.

Membership term and renewal: The Content Collective is an annual membership. Your membership runs for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

At the end of your 12-month term, you will be invited to renew your membership. Renewal is optional and not automatic unless clearly stated at the point of purchase.

Fees and payment plans: Payment for The Content Collective may be made in full or by instalments, as outlined at the point of purchase.

Pay-in-full options are a one-off payment and all purchases are final.

Where a payment plan is selected, this represents an annual commitment to The Content Collective. The payment plan is provided to make the membership more accessible and is not a subscription that can be cancelled part-way through. Instalments must be paid in full, even if you decide that you no longer wish to participate.

Once you have accepted these terms, the membership fee is fixed at the price advertised at the time of purchase.

If you are paying by instalment and a payment fails due to an expired card or other circumstances, support will be provided to help you resolve this. If payment issues occur more than once, I reserve the right to pause access to the Content Collective hub, materials and live sessions until all outstanding payments have been settled and your account has been brought up to date.

Live sessions and participation: The Content Collective includes live group sessions. It is your responsibility to make yourself available to attend live sessions where possible, as this is how you will gain the most value from the membership.

No refunds, extensions or partial credits are available for missed live sessions.

Postponed, rescheduled or cancelled sessions: If, due to unforeseen circumstances, a live session needs to be postponed or cancelled, one of the following will apply:
• a new date will be advised, or
• a suitable content expert or a selected member of The Content Collective, briefed by me in advance, will host the session.

A recording of the Content Power Up session may be made available.

Session recordings and visibility: Live training sessions will be recorded. Recordings will be made available to current and future members of The Content Collective via the hub.

Your name, image and/or video may be captured during these sessions. If you choose to share information about yourself or your business during live sessions, this information will be visible to other members. Please only share what you are comfortable doing so in a group setting.

Community spaces: The Content Collective includes access to an optional private Instagram group chat. This space is intended for sharing ideas, asking for support and encouraging one another.

Participation in the Instagram group chat is optional, and you are free to leave the group at any time if it feels noisy or no longer supportive for you.

Members are expected to engage respectfully and kindly. Confidential or sensitive information should not be shared within this space.

I reserve the right to remove access to the group or the membership if behaviour is inappropriate or breaches these terms.

Intellectual Property: Please be advised that I reserve all rights to my intellectual property for both my customised and non-customised products and services. This means that whilst you are free to use the content digitally or print out a copy for personal use, you are not permitted to copy, distribute, adapt, edit or share any of my products with third parties.

Changes to the membership: I reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the content, structure, session topics or delivery format of The Content Collective during the membership period, while ensuring it remains aligned with what was described at the time of purchase.

E: Purchase Terms for 1:1 Sessions

This section applies to the purchase of all one-to-one sessions delivered by me.

Booking and delivery: One-to-one sessions are delivered online via Zoom, unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase. Session details and access information will be provided after booking.

You are purchasing a one-to-one session of 60 minutes, or such other duration as stated at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to attend the session on time and to make yourself available for the full duration.

Fees and payment: Payment for one-to-one sessions must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated.

All purchases of one-to-one sessions are final, subject to the cancellation terms set out below.

Cancellations and rescheduling: You may cancel your one-to-one session at any time before the session begins.

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled session time, no further payment will be due.

If you cancel within 48 hours – 24 hours of the scheduled session time, 50% of the full session fee will be due.

If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled session time, 100% of the full session fee will be due.

No refunds will be issued once a session has started.

Late arrival: If you arrive late to your scheduled session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. Additional time cannot be added or carried over.

Preparation and participation: You are paying for dedicated one-to-one time and guidance. It is your responsibility to prepare for the session and to brief me in advance, in order to get the maximum value from our time together.

I will carry out a brief overview of your business in advance of the session. This will not involve reviewing all content, materials or platforms in detail. You will need to brief me about your business on the call.

During the session, I will ask detailed questions about your business, short-term goals, content direction, and preferences. I may ask similar questions in different ways to gain clarity and fully understand what you are trying to achieve.

The session is designed to help you think more deeply about your business and what you want your content to do. At times, this process may feel challenging or a little uncomfortable. This is a normal and intentional part of the work.

Session duration: Sessions are scheduled for the time purchased. Where availability allows, a session may occasionally run over. This is not guaranteed and should not be expected.

Results disclaimer: One-to-one sessions provide guidance, clarity and strategic support. Whilst many clients achieve positive outcomes, results are not guaranteed. You are responsible for how you apply the information discussed to your own business and circumstances.

Session recordings: One-to-one sessions may be recorded for your personal reference, where appropriate. Any recordings provided are for your use only and must not be shared with third parties.

Confidentiality: Any information shared during one-to-one sessions will be treated as confidential by me. You agree to treat any information shared with you during the session with the same level of care and discretion.

Technical requirements: You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable internet access, equipment and software to attend the session. I am not responsible for technical issues outside my control.

Changes or cancellation by me: In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule your session due to unforeseen circumstances, I will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date.

 

Section F: Purchase Terms for Video Content Creation Services

This section applies to the purchase of video content creation services provided by me.

Filming and delivery: Video content will be filmed using my phone and lightly edited. Editing may include trimming clips and basic adjustments only. Advanced editing, captions, branding, graphics, sound design or revisions are not included unless agreed in advance.

Final video files will be delivered via Dropbox. You are responsible for downloading and safely storing the files once access has been provided.

Video files will remain available in Dropbox for a minimum of 12 months from the date of delivery. After this time, files may be removed and I am not responsible for storing or re-sending content.

Usage rights: Once full payment has been made, you are granted full usage rights to the video content for use within your business.

I retain the right to use video clips, stills or excerpts from the footage for my own marketing, portfolio and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to filming.

Preparation and responsibility: It is your responsibility to prepare for the filming session. This includes, but is not limited to, being ready on the day, choosing suitable locations, outfits, props and ensuring the environment is appropriate for filming.

I am not responsible for missed footage or limitations caused by lack of preparation, time constraints, environmental factors, lighting conditions, noise, weather or venue restrictions.

Revisions: Video content creation services do not include revisions. Any additional editing or changes requested after delivery will be subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

Performance disclaimer: I am responsible for filming and delivering the video content as agreed. I do not guarantee performance, reach, engagement, visibility or results once the content is published. Platform algorithms, audience response and outcomes are outside my control.

Technical limitations: Video quality is dependent on the filming environment and conditions at the time of recording. Whilst reasonable care will be taken, I am not responsible for technical limitations beyond my control.

Third-party platforms: Dropbox is a third-party platform. I am not responsible for any outages, access issues or technical problems relating to third-party services used for delivery.

 

Section G: Entire agreement and governing law

These Terms of Purchase, together with the information provided on this website and at the point of purchase, set out the entire agreement between us in relation to any products or services you purchase from this site. I will rely on these written terms when providing any products or services to you.

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be adjusted or removed where necessary, without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining terms.

These terms and any claim or dispute arising in relation to any purchase will be governed by English law. You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such claim or dispute.
